Counters, tables and work surfaces need to have enough clear space to accommodate a wheelchair. This is illustrated with an image of a man in a wheelchair sitting at a corner desk. He is reaching out to access the papers on a sorting tray but is unable to reach because his wheelchair is too far back. This standard also applies to training facilities and meeting rooms.
